In the fall of 2014, I purchased a condo which needed to be totally renovated. I had interviewed some other general contractors as this was my first experience taking with this, in what seemed, an overwhelming task! As soon as I met Perry Saxe, I felt very confident that he was the contractor that was going to do my condo. I appreciated the fact that Perry was very patient with the many questions I asked and that he was not aggressive in his demeanor. The work started in January, 2015 and within three months, the condo was completely ready for me to move into! At first, I was assigned a project manager who would work closely with myself, my designer and the various trades. It surprised me that Perry was also supervising the job and was well aware of what was happening at all times! I was very impressed with the high quality trades that were hired. They were all very experienced and respected the fact that they were working in a residence and not on a commercial property. Whether they were plumbers, painters, electricians, carpenters etc. their work was first class! The end result was beyond my expectations!! I moved into a beautiful apartment with a top quality kitchen, unbelievable woodwork throughout, and the most amazing hardwood floors. When the job was completed, I was reassured that if anything problematic would come up in the future, that Perry and his team would be there for me. I would highly recommend Whiteoak Construction to anyone looking to renovate their property as the work was done with top top quality materials, the best trades available and a contractor who genuinely takes pride in the work they do.

Buying a new home is a daunting task, doing a major renovation is even more scary. Add in COVID19 and the stress is unimaginable. When we purchased our home last summer we were unsure of the plans, unsure of what we would find and unsure of what the final product would look like. The team at Whiteoak Construction guided us, gave us critical advice, suggested designers and strategies and helped us from beginning to end. Each member of their organization was helpful, caring, safe and skilled. Their attention to detail made the process not just minimally invasive, but actually enjoyable.
Our project manager, John Saxe worked with us daily to make decisions that were smart, safe and styled. He and his team treated our home and the entire project as if it was their own. Never has a job site been left cleaner on a daily basis. We appreciated his sound advice and the final product was beyond even my own very discriminating expectations.
Most importantly, both he and the owner, Perry Saxe, were available to us, always. When people complain about their contractors - I tell them to call Whiteoak.
